On June 3, 2019, the 2,000th Track Type Tractor Rolling Off Ceremony was successfully held in Caterpillar Qingzhou facility. Ed O’Neil, General Manager of Caterpillar Earthmoving Operations, Jianping Ma, Facility Manager of CQL, Robert Pang, Tract Type Tractor Factory Manager and operator’s representatives from product line joined the ceremony to mark the achievements.

During the ceremony, Ed O’Neil highly recognized SEM track type tractor production team and operator’s representatives for their great work and excellent performance.

In this April, SEM816D track type tractor was recognized in the 2019 China Construction Machinery Products TOP50 for the excellent reliability and market performance. SEM816D leverages over 40 years of Caterpillar hydrostatic design technology and manufacturing experience. It meets the National Stage III emission regulation. Upgraded from the previous model, SEM816D can satisfy the customer needs in a variety of applications. Since it came into the market in December 2017, this model has been well received by customers for its easy operation, excellent reliability and high efficiency.
